EXTENDED SUMMER HOURS START JULY 7, 2003
Considering that most companies are cutting back on hours, we are happy to announce that during the months of July and August only the Management office will remain open on Tuesday's until 6:00 PM.
LOCK BOX UPDATE
We would like to thank our Tower I residents for their cooperation during our testing phase. We are aware of the shortcomings with our new statements. Due to the size of the remittance portion of the statement, only eight chargeable entries can be shown. Additional line entries and most recent charges are being lumped together and posted to the new statement as "arrears". Please rest assured we know most of you are not in arrears. We are continuing to work with our accounting software in an attempt to more closely replicate our old "blue" format statement before we do a complete conversion.
We hope to be finished with the testing phase in the next two months. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Mary Ellen at 201/453-2412 or Linda at 201/453-2414.
THE BERM
We continue to move forward with the project in two ways. The concrete that is being poured is forming a "topping slab." This slab will be the base for the new waterproofing membrane to be installed upon. It will be pitched (pointed) towards the drains and when dry, will accept the new membrane all around the berm. We are also meeting regularly and frequently with our newly hired landscape architect to re-design the berm area, and to incorporate a master design for the entire property, including the mini park and the upper plaza areas, to capitalize on our views, location and value. We expect the waterproofing of the berm to be completed during August, with filling in of dirt and plant material in the first two weeks of September, as planting is not recommended in August.
KEY CHECK
During the upcoming week, Security will be checking all apartment keys to ensure that they work. If you have recently moved in, remember that we must have a copy of your apartment keys in case of emergency. Please contact the Management Office for more information.
WASTE LINE CLEANING
We are embarking on a huge project to clean the kitchen waste lines throughout the entire building. This will alleviate many of the "Black Water Fairy" problems that residents are experiencing, when black dirty water suddenly backs up into your apartment. We will be contacting you during the next few months to gain access to your apartment, and it is IMPERATIVE that access be given when we request it, for this project to be successful.
