Flowers have been ordered and will be delivered and planted during the week of May 12th. Spring has finally arrived!

A new contractor has been hired for the Berm project. Work should start in approximately two weeks. We will keep you posted as things progress.

The Spa will be holding its first ever Health Fair on Saturday, May 3, 2003 from 11:00AM until 3:00 PM. The Hudson County Community View will perform free blood pressure screenings, cholesterol and glucose testing; other vendors will include massage therapists, chiropractors, Feng Shui, aromatherapy, the Institute for Breast Cancer and more. All Galaxy residents and their guests are invited to attend.

TOWER III - Michael Baruch and Allan Ellinger will be meeting with Tower III homeowners on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 in Spa meeting room # 3 at 8:00 PM.

A representative from the Town of Guttenberg will be in the Spa, along with a representative from management to register residents dogs with the town and the Galaxy. You will need to bring a copy of your pet's rabies inoculation certificate. Check your cubbies for more specific information.

The tennis courts are officially open for the season! Reservations will be taken starting immediately. Remember, courts must be reserved in advance but not more than 24 hours in advance; one hour reservations for singles/two hours for doubles. The Spa will be enforcing the guest rule for the tennis courts. There is a $10.00 fee for guest usage on weekends until 2:00 PM. Steve Rosen's Sunday morning Hacker's League will be up and running at 9:00 AM on on the New East Courts #1 and #2.

Want to learn how to waltz or swing or do a smooth fox trot for that upcoming wedding or party? Maybe a little bit of tango would add some "spring" to your spring! We have a professional, competition-winning instructor who is just terrific. Lessons are right here in the Spa Lounge. Check the flyers in the tower and Spa cubbies for details and them put on your dancin' shoes!

The movie for May 2, 2003 will be Far From Heaven, starring Julienne Moore.

The summer session is starting on May 15, 2003. Children from 0 to 3 years will enjoy this interactive music and movement class which includes fun instruments and a sing-a-long to live piano tunes. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2003 in meeting room #3 of the Spa Lounge. The next planned field trip is to the Botanical Gardens to photograph those gorgeous cherry blossom trees that are now in full bloom. Join us.

The Flea Market and Craft Sale will take place on Sunday - May 18th, 10:00AM to 4:00PM in the Picnic Area. If you want to rent a table, check in at the Spa Desk. Come down and be a buyer or a seller, or both! Hot dogs and lemonade will be on sale too. Every Friday evening at 7:30 PM join your friends for a free half hour session of pure laughter in Room 3 in the Spa This club is sponsored by your Recreational Activities Committee. Check the cubbies for more details.

Please join Galaxy Residents for a lovely 5K walk/run in Central Park on May 3, 2003 as we participate in a fund raiser that benefits Cancer research and victims.
