NOTICES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS THIS WEEKEND. SPRING AHEAD!

New     FIRE SAFETY SEMINAR

An informational fire safety seminar will be given on Wednesday, April 9th, 2003 at 7:30 PM in the Spa Lounge. Residents can expect to learn about how to avoid starting a fire, what to do in case of a fire, how to use a fire extinguisher, when to (or not to) evacuate your apartment or the building. The seminar is brought to you by your Board of Directors, hosted by Management, and will be given by our own Guttenberg Fire Official, Tony Casper. All residents are encouraged to attend this very important, and possibly life saving seminar.

New     FINANCIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE

Be sure to check your tower cubbies for a very informative memo from the Financial Advisory Committee. Don't forget to jot down your recommendations on the back of the 'update' and forward to Scott Rozman at 1-16A.

New     BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING CANCELLATION

BOARD OF EDUCATION - VOTE!

The election for the Board of Education will be held on April 15th in the Galaxy Movie Theater between 2:00 and 9:00pm. Your vote is important. Please vote.

New     SHORTCUT CLOSED

In an effort to increase our security, there will no longer be open access between the mall and the Management Office. You can still have indoor access to the mall by using the garage elevators. This will increase our security, as anyone coming from the mall will have to come through the lobby, where they will be screened.

KEY FOBS

The fob installation is complete. If you do not have the new key fobs, you will not have access through the garage doors. Only residents who complete and return the key fob questionnaire will be able to procure a fob. Please note that it takes 24 hours to get a fob after the questionnaire has been returned. We will have additional distribution times for you to retrieve your key fobs for this coming week only. Please come to the Management office to pick them up during the following days and times:

Monday and Wednesday: 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM.

For added security, the system was set up so that it will beep in the management/security office if a fobbed door is left open for too long. Beepers will be installed on the doors shortly. We have had 2 reports that the chips in the fobs may interfere with anti-theft systems of certain cars (especially Lexus) if they are kept too close to the ignition. If your car has trouble starting, remove the fob from your car key ring.

FINANCIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE

Be sure to check your tower cubbies for a very informative memo from the Financial Advisory Committee. Don't forget to jot down your recommendations on the back of the 'update' and forward to Alex Kim at 1-37D.
