We are in the process of changing over many entrance door locks. Tower II has been completed, and in order to gain entry to Tower II from the garage , you will need the new fobs. We will also be adding additional locks at the "S" level entrances, the public storage areas, and other areas to be announced. For the next two weeks (or so) you will need BOTH of your fobs... the old and the new. Some doors (such as Tower II) will have the new system and others will have the old lock until the changeover has been completed. Only residents who complete and return the key fob questionnaire will be able to procure a fob. Please note that it takes 24 hours to get a fob after the questionnaire has been returned. We have added additional distribution times for you to retrieve your key fobs.

Monday and Wednesday: 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 8:00PM-10:00PM

Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM and 8:00PM-10PM

If you do not have the new key fobs, you will not have access through the garage doors. Keep your old fob on your key ring until we notify you that you can discard it.

Effective Monday, March 24th, the 11h Floor Garage Entrance will now remain open for an additional half hour, until 7:00am.

Last week, Management and our Security Sergeants had a very productive and informative meeting with the Guttenberg Police Department to review security issues and procedures. During the meeting, we also learned that our residents can obtain temporary parking permits for guests (or contractors) for parking on the town streets by contacting the Guttenberg Town Hall at 201-868-2315. Did you know that there is a 4 hour parking grace period on the streets of Guttenberg? According to GPD, any car can park for 4 hours on Guttenberg streets without the required permit. Summonses are issues if the car remains parked in the street longer than 4 hours per day.

An informational fire safety seminar will be given on Wednesday, April 9th, 2003 at 7:30pm in the Spa Lounge.  Residents can expect to learn about how to avoid starting a fire, what to do in case of a fire, how to use a fire extinguisher, when to (or not to) evacuate your apartment or the building.  The seminar is brought to you by your Board of Directors, will be hosted by Management, and will be given by our own Guttenberg Fire Official, Tony Casper.    All residents are encouraged to attend this very important, and possibly life saving seminar.

If you plan to bring in a rental car, replacement car or loaner car --- you must read this!

Temporary replacement cars used for longer than 36 hours must be issued a temporary tag.  The tags are available from the GTCA Accounting office and are valid for ten (10) days.  Temporary replacement cars for less than 36 hours must obtain a temporary parking number from the Accounting Department. A caucus of the Guttenberg Board of Education will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 4:00 PM in the cafetorium of the Anna L. Klein School, 301 69th Street, Guttenberg, immediately followed by a Special Meeting at 5:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a hearing on the 2003-2004 School District Budget Statement, approve previous minutes of the Special Meeting of February 26, 2003, Reports of Committees, Report of School Officers and approve Special Resolutions SR-02-56 through SR-02-76.

On Thursday, April 17, 2003 between the hours of 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, FREE RABIES SHOTS will be given to all Guttenberg dogs at the Guttenberg Community Center, 121 71st Street (between Broadway and Hudson). These shots should be given to all dogs annually.
