THE RUN-OFF ELECTION FOR THE THREE AT-LARGE SEATS WILL TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19, 2003 IN THE SPA FROM 5:00 PM UNTIL 9:00 PM. All your votes are important to us!  Please take the time before the upcoming election to bring your account to a current position with our Accounting Department.  Owners who are not in good standing will not be able to exercise their voting privileges.

An informational fire safety seminar will be given on Wednesday, April 9th, 2003 at 7:30pm in the Spa Lounge.  Residents can expect to learn about how to avoid starting a fire, what to do in case of a fire, how to use a fire extinguisher, when to (or not to) evacuate your apartment or the building.  The seminar is brought to you by your Board of Directors, will be hosted by Management, and will be given by our own Guttenberg Fire Official, Tony Casper.    All residents are encouraged to attend this very important, and possibly life saving seminar.

If you plan to bring in a rental car, replacement car or loaner car --- you must read this!

Temporary replacement cars used for longer than 36 hours must be issued a temporary tag.  The tags are available from the GTCA Accounting office and are valid for ten (10) days.  Temporary replacement cars for less than 36 hours must obtain a temporary parking number from the Accounting Department. Within the next 2 weeks, you will start to see new key fob access panels on the garage entrance doors.  If you use a key fob and have not already submitted the questionnaire, please obtain a copy at the concierge desk and bring the completed form to the Management-Accounting office (see times below) as soon as possible.

For those of you who have completed the questionnaire and missed the key fob distribution recently held from March 10th to March 12th, you can pick up your key fobs at the Management-Accounting office during the following times:

The Parents Committee is starting a bi-monthly Toddlers in Motion Class on Wednesdays at 4:15 PM commencing on March 19, 2003.  Toddlers will partake in a mixture of movement and music.  This class is recommended for children aged 1 ½ to 3 ½ .  Tuition is $60.  Contact Karen Tsang at 201-662-9584.

The Retirees Committee will be sponsoring a Fantasy of Arabian Nights in the Spa Lounge on May 24, 2003 at 8:00 PM.  The evening will feature a belly dancer, open bar, superb Middle Eastern Cuisine, dancing to a DJ and much more at a cost of $30 per person.  Galaxy residents and guests 21+ years are welcome.  Contact Hasso Gulrajaney at 201-861-5478 for more details.

The movie for March 7, 2003 will be The Bourne Identity, starring Matt Damion.

Massages are available at the Spa.  The Spa is also offering core strengthening classes on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM and Saturdays at 10:00 AM.  Massage therapy and fitness equipment orientations are also now available.  Contact the Spa at 201-453-2405 for more information.

A bi-monthly Story and Craft Class will be starting on Wednesday March 19, 2003 at 5:15 PM.  This class is great for children aged 2 to 5.  Children will read an interactive story and make an art project around the book's theme.  Contact Karen Tsang at 201-662-9584 for tuition information and enrollment. 

TThe Friends Network is hosting an Oscar Party on Sunday, March 23, 2003 at 7:30 PM in the Spa Lounge.  Watch the Academy Awards with new and old friends.  Plus, participate in a contest and guess the winners.  Black tie optional but prizes for best-dressed.  $10 per person.  Contact Gita at 201-707-6470 or email galaxyfriends@hotmail.com.
