1. The Galaxy Health Spa shall be for the exclusive use of registered residents of the Galaxy Condominium, their dependent children, and their guests.
2.Your pin # and hand identity is your evidence of residency. Access to the Spa will be denied without it.
3. All residents must be registered into the Hand Recognition System and be verified by the hand reader to gain entry to the Spa. This includes temporary residents and baby-sitters.
4. An adult resident must accompany guests of the resident (either apartment unit owner or tenant) over 18 years of age.
5. Children under 12 years of age will not be admitted to the Spa without being supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times.
6. No one will be permitted in the Spa area before or after scheduled hours of operation. The Association may revise hours at any time.
7. Pets (except Seeing Eye dogs) are not permitted in the Spa at any time.
8. Proper attire upon entering and leaving the Spa shall be, at minimum, a shirt, shorts, and footwear.
9. Compliance with the specific rules for the use of each room and facility in the Spa is required.
10. Horseplay, ball playing, running, or objectionable behavior such as the use of loud, boisterous, obscene or offensive language in the Spa will not be permitted.
11. No baseball, softball, or stickball is allowed on Spa premises.
12. Radios, televisions and tape players are permitted only when listened to, through individual headsets.
13. Except as provided in paragraph 14, all guests (non-members) over 6 years of age will be admitted upon payment of a $2.00 guest fee.
14. Before 2:00 p.m.on Sarurdays, Sundays, and holidays commencing on Memorial Day and continuing through Labor Day, a $10.00 guest fee will be charged for admission of all guests over 6 years of age with a maximum of 2 guests per unit. At all other times there shall be allowed 2 guests at no charge and a $2.00 charge per guest for more than two with a maximum of 4 guests per unit.
15. All guest fees are to charged as Residentiol Limited Common Expenses to the members of the Association who have guests and shall be due and payable when billed. Apartment units will be subject to the right of lien by the Association in the case of non-payment.
16. Failure to abide by the Galaxy Health Spa rules or to willfully or deliberately cause a disturbance or unsafe condition may result in the imposition, by the Covenant's Committee, of a suspension of Spa privileges and/or fine not to exceed $200.00. Such fees or fines shall be deemed common expenses and the Association shall have the availability to it for non-payment of common expenses. A temporary suspension of up to 10 days may be imposed by the Spa Director or the Spa staff member who is in charge at the time of the alleged violation.
17. One copy of the Galaxy Health Spa rules shall be posted at the entry to the Spa. Rules relative to specific areas in an appropriate location shall be posted.
LOCKER ROOM RULES
1. No smoking.
2. No food or beverages.3. There are no permanent lockers. Lockers are for changing only. Therefore, all padlocks must be removed before you leave the spa. Any padlock left overnight will be removed.
4. Children over 5 years of age must use their sex's locker room.
STEAM ROOM/SAUNA RULES
1. No smoking.
2. Magazines, newspapers, paper cups, food or beverages shall not be permitted.3. Always sit or lie on a towel.
4. Do not pour water or aromatic compounds over the rock bed in the steam room or the stove in the sauna.
5. Do not shave, cut nails, or remove calluses, etc.
6. Do not enter the steam room or sauna with oil, face cream, shampoo, hair conditioner or other aromatic compounds on your body.
7. Do not leave swimsuits or clothing in the sauna to dry.
8. Children under 12 years of age shall not be permitted unless accompanied and supervised by a person who is 18 years of age or older.
SUN TAN ROOM RULES
1. No smoking shall be permitted.
2. No food or alcoholic beverages.
3. No glass containers.
4. No diving.
5. The designated lap lanes are for lap swimming only.
6. Children under 6 years of age shall not be allowed in the whirlpool. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a person 18 years of age or older.
7. No diaper changing allowed. Facilities are provided in the locker rooms.
8. Waterproof pants must be worn by all children wearing diapers.
9. Flotation aids and swim fins may be utilized with the permission of the lifeguard.
10. No scuba equipment shall be allowed except with the permission of the Spa Manager.
11. A shower is required before entering the pool or whirlpool.
12. No one shall enter the pool or whirlpool with open sores, cuts, skin disorders, Band-Aids, hairpins, hair rollers, etc.
13. Proper bathing attire in the indoor pool or whirlpool is a bathing suit only.
14. The lifeguards are in charge of the pool and their directions must be followed.
OUTDOOR POOL RULES
1. No food or alcoholic beverages.
2. No glass containers. No food or alcoholic beverages.
3. Smoking is permitted in the designated areas only.
4. Butt containers shall be utilized for cigar ashes, cigarette ashes, butts, or pipe tobacco ashes.
5. Diving permitted in deep end only.
6. Lounges cannot be reserved.
7. Baby strollers are permitted only at the shallow end of the pool against the wall.
8. No diaper changing allowed. Facilities are provided in the locker rooms.
9. Flotation aids and swim fins may be utilzed with the permission of the lifeguard.
10. No scuba equipment shall be allowed except with the permission of the Spa Manager.
11. A shower is required before entering the pool or whirlpool.
12. No one shall enter the pool or whirlpool with open sores, cuts, skin disorders, Band-Aids, hairpins, hair rollers, etc.

FITNESS ROOM RULES
1. No smoking.
2. No food or beverage.
3. Proper attire is a T-shirt, shorts, warm-up suit or leotard. Swimsuits and street clothes are not permitted. Proper footware must be warn while using equipment.
4. Children must be at least 14 years old to use the Fitness Rooms.
5. Do not drop the weights.
6. Dumbbells shall be returned to the rack and not permitted to be removed from this room.
7. Do not place dumbbells on benches or other fitness equipment, except for where they belong on the racks.
ACCESS TO THE HAND RECOGNITION SYSTEM
Each registered resident 12 years of age or older, will be issued a Pin number and registered into the hand recognition system. The total number of residents entered will be limited to the number of registered residents.
GUESTS
Residents must sign their guests in at the Spa Reception Desk upon each and every visit, in accordance with General Rules #4 and #14.
Renting Residents
In case of residents who rent, use of the hand recognition system will have an expiration date. The expiration will coincide with the expiration of their lease. All residents who rent must leave a copy of their lease with the Spa receptionist for our files. Upon renewal of an expired lease, residents must bring a copy of the updated lease in order to have uninterrupted use of the Spa.
Temporary Resident Passes
These will be issued for a period of 90 days at a time for those in temporary residence, with a maximum of 2 passes per apartment at any given time. A charge of $25.0 per temporary resident's pass will be levied. These will be valid for the period issued, and be renewed for an additional 90 day period, and then be voided. A temporary resident has the right to bring those persons qualifying under the apartment guest privileges to the Spa. Entry into the hand recognition system will be substituted for a pass.
