The Parents Committee

Winter was very busy time for the Parents Committee.

In January the kids were treated to a "Sock Hop" complete with a deejay. The parents are working on events including a visit from Mother Goose and an Earth Day Celebration. Dates and times will be on the fliers found in the cubbies and on our bulletin boards.

In February the hard-working members of the Parents Committee enjoyed an evening out with other adults and committee members. They ate and danced at the Palisadium at the annual Board of Directors appreciation dinner.

Classes are now in full swing. These include arts and crafts, Spanish, swimming, karate, dance and tumble, a bimonthly story and craft night, a bimonthly sing and dance-a-long class, kindermusik and piano. These are all paid classes, and registration is required. Please note: Music and Motion is now a paid class and registration is required.

Free to all Galaxy residents are the children’s movie shows every Thursday at

4 P.M. in meeting room #3. See fliers in the lobbies for a schedule.

Also available are board games and videos for sign out at the Spa Reception

desk for use in the Spa area only.
