EDITOR’S NOTEBOOK

 

Much thanks and applause should be given to Winston and Karen Tsang for their remarkable work as editors of The Galaxy News – APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE! Luckily, their departure from this post coincided with the end of my tenure on the Board of Directors. So, happily, I’m back at the helm.

This issue celebrates what I’ve found to be a major part of life at the Galaxy, the committees. Once a year, your Board of Directors sponsors an appreciation dinner and dance to thank and honor the many members of our community who give so freely of their time and expertise. These men and women form the real backbone of the lifestyle we all enjoy. Special awards are also given to an outstanding resident and an outstanding employee.

Meantime, congratulations are in order for Robert Johnston and Michael Baruch on their election to the Board of Directors and to Martha Norget on her re-election to the Board.
