BRAINTEASERS

by Marc Rosen

Re last issue's teasers, one submitter (who got ‘em all right with no demerits for penmanship) was Fiona Duffell, married to Phillip and fresh over here from jolly old England with their delightful James Bond accents. So they are newcomers not only to the Galaxy (Tower 3), but to the United States as well. But [there's always a but] because I've got a knack for divining people's true intentions, especially their sinister ones, I tell you that there's something about the Duffells that arouses my suspicions. I fear that they'll soon join a movement dedicated to reverting this country to a colonized entity subservient to the great farflung British Empire. We must all be ever vigilant. But civilly vigilant. So, Fiona and Phillip, welcome to our midst.

Talking about good neighbors, Carole and Steven Rosen (related, I think, to each other, but not related to me) were kind enough to submit a teaser, which I've chosen to run for this issue. This is a teaser the likes of which we used (and you liked) some years back, and we're happy to use again. Thanx Rosens.

Dope out the following 26 items. As a bonus, those who come up with a real good new and novel name for this genre of puzzle earn two points of extra credit, which can be redeemed for a Green Kitchen dinner for two. [But don't forget to bring your credit card or cash.]
