This is the only Mac Users Group, officially recognized by Apple, to be made up exclusively of residents from a single condominium. The Galaxy Towers Condominium!
The club meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, in the Spa meeting room #3, but we skip meetings that fall on a holiday. The hours we hold our session meetings are from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Typically, we start out by discussing the latest Mac/Computer oriented news followed by a demonstration of software or computer techniques. Then we usually discuss problems and problem solving techniques, then we wrap up with distribution of freeware and shareware programs that we had just discussed.
Remember that shareware gives you the right to use the program for a trial period, but if you keep it, you are obligated to pay the shareware fee (typically only $5 to $10). Freeware is as it's name denotes .. FREE!
We're Holding New Classes!Free beginning classes on "Introduction to the Computer" will be offered. Classes will start on Saturday, Jan 18th at 9:00 am in the Spa meeting room #3. Space is limited so please register early, registration forms are available in the tower lobby's. We will cover the following topics:

The Macintosh Users Group is formed by the members of the Galaxy Condominium,
located on the Hudson River directly across from New York City in the town
of Guttenberg, New Jersey. It is the only users group formed and comprised
exclusively by the residents a single condominium complex. We attract many
professionals involved in the educational, financial, medical, legal, and the
graphic arts and entertainment industries. We have recently launched several
projects, one of which involves posting and maintaining our Web Page. We intend
on developing links with other groups that have similar interests, so if you
are interested, please contact us and we'll take it from there.
